Shri Mangal Kendra sits at the 1st stage of Zambre Heritage in Dhanakawadi. It’s right there on the 1st Cross. We have been here for a while, serving the people who live in this part of Pune. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it stocked with the things people need most. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly moving boxes around just to find a bit of space to stand. Dealing with the daily crowd keeps us on our toes. You get to know the regulars pretty well, like which neighbor is looking for what or who is going to come in late just before we close up for the night. The area around 411043 has changed quite a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It is a practical sort of place. We don't have fancy lights or big displays. Most of the time, I’m just behind the counter checking things or talking to someone about the weather. It is a lot of work running a local spot like this, and there is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. But this is what we do. We open up early, stay until the work is done, and then do it all over again the next morning. It’s just a normal part of life in Dhanakawadi for us. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just stay open and help whoever walks through the door.
