Shree Samarath Snacks

Over at Warje Malwadi 1st Main, Aecs Layout 131, we have been running Shree Samarath Snacks for a while now. It is a pretty quiet corner compared to the main roads, tucked away in the layout. We get started very early in the morning, usually while it is still dark out, because that is when the first people want their snacks. Our kitchen is quite small, so we have to move carefully so we don’t get in each other’s way when we’re busy. We mostly just focus on getting the batter right and keeping the oil at the right temperature. It isn't the kind of place where people sit for hours; it is more about getting something to eat and moving on with your day. We have many regulars who come by every morning like they’ve done for years. They don’t even have to tell us what they want anymore. The air around the shop always smells like spices and fried food, which I guess is how people find us. Aecs Layout 131 is a good spot for a shop like ours. Sometimes the supply truck doesn’t show up on time and we have to figure something else out, or the power goes out and we work with whatever light we have. It is all just part of the daily routine. We don’t have fancy signs or uniforms, just the name on the front and the food we make every single day.
