Our shop is at number 85 on the Gheekanta Main Road in Khadakwasla. It’s a good spot because of all the traffic passing through to the dam. We see a lot of travelers as well as the locals. The building is quite old, and the paint is peeling a bit near the bottom. We try to keep things tidy inside, though. There's always a lot of steam in the air from the big milk boilers. It makes the windows foggy in the winter. We don't have a lot of variety, just the main things that people like to eat. We use a lot of ghee, so the whole street usually smells like it. My father started this place, and I took over when his back started giving him trouble. Now my nephew helps out on the weekends when he isn't at school. We don't have any fancy displays. Everything is just in steel trays behind the glass. The road outside is always being repaired, so there's usually some construction noise. We just talk a bit louder. Sometimes we run out of change at the register, so we have to ask people for coins. It's just a regular roadside shop. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted over the door. People find us anyway. We’re just here every day from morning until the sun goes down. The counter is a bit high for short people, but we always lean over to help.
