Shivam Bhel

Shivam Bhel is located in Hadapsar on Avhalwadi Road 2. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy to look at. We’ve been serving the local community here for a while now. Most of our day is spent mixing things up and making sure the ingredients are fresh. It’s the kind of place where people stop by for a quick snack while they are on their way somewhere else. We don't have a lot of seating, so most folks just stand around or take their food to go. Avhalwadi Road can get pretty dusty and busy with all the traffic, but we just stay focused on the counter. We aren't trying to be the biggest or most famous spot in Pune. We just like being the local bhel shop for our neighborhood. The work isn't complicated, but it takes time to get everything right. We start prepping in the afternoon to be ready for the evening rush when people are coming home from work. That’s usually our busiest time. We see a lot of kids and families from around Hadapsar. It’s nice to be a part of the daily routine for so many people. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just bhel, and we are just the people who make it. We’ll probably be here at the same spot on Road 2 for a long time to come. It’s what we do.
