Shelke Sanket Popat

Being in Kothrud means there is always something going on outside. Our place is on the 4th Cross, right opposite Begur Road. It’s a bit of a tricky spot to find if you’re not from around here. We are in Shivsmruti Apt, specifically Flat No-9. Being near Sutar Hospital helps people find us though. You can hear the ambulances sometimes and the general bustle of the medical staff and patients nearby. The apartment itself is older but sturdy. Shelke Sanket Popat has been running from here for a while. The stairs can be a bit narrow when you’re carrying boxes up to the flat. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of paper. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine that does anything special. Usually, we just get tea from the guy at the corner. The view from the balcony looks out over the road, so there’s plenty to watch when taking a minute off. It gets pretty dusty with the traffic, so we have to wipe down the tables every single morning. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s a very local vibe, nothing like those glass buildings you see in the city center. Just a regular flat where we do our work and try to stay organized. It works for what we do every day.
