Shayam Restaurant

We are located in Tukaram Nagar, right on Milk Man Street in Pimpri. It's a bit of an interesting spot because we are right opposite the DY Patil Medical College and near Langford Road. Because of that, we get a lot of students and hospital staff coming in for their lunch or dinner. Shayam Restaurant has been around this area for a bit, and we’ve seen many classes of students come and go. The street is always busy with people walking to and from the college. We keep the place simple with basic tables and chairs. The food we serve is mostly stuff that reminds people of home cooking, which I think the students appreciate since they are far from their families. It gets very loud during the lunch hour when everyone has a break at the same time. We have to work fast to make sure everyone gets back to their classes on time. My family helps out with the running of the place, so it’s a real local operation. We don’t have a big fancy menu, just the daily specials and the usual items that people ask for. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with what we have, but that’s just how things are here. We just try to provide a reliable place for a meal without any fuss or expensive prices. We like being part of the community and seeing the same faces every day.
