Shalini Pure Veg Restaurant

You can find Shalini Pure Veg Restaurant at 354 Rasta Peth. We are right across the street from KEM Hospital. Because of the hospital, we see a lot of different people. Some are visiting family members and others work at the hospital and just need a quick lunch. We only serve vegetarian food. It is a humble place in a busy part of Pune. Rasta Peth is always crowded with bikes and people walking. We have a few tables where people sit and have their tea or a meal. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside. We don't have a big staff, just enough to keep things moving. We start our day early to get the tea ready for the morning crowd. The hospital across the road never closes, so the street always has some activity. Our restaurant is quite plain inside. We don't use any fancy menus or decorations. Everything is written on a board or we just tell people what is available. It’s an honest way to run a business. We spend a lot of time washing dishes and making sure the floor is clean. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day long. We don't complain though. People need a place to eat near the hospital and we are here for them. That is basically what we do every single day.
