Sarhad School

Sarhad School is located over in Katraj, specifically at Survey No 79-80-81-76/4. Pune is a very big city, but our corner here feels like its own little world once you get inside. We have been operating out of this spot for quite a while, and the neighborhood has really grown up around us over the years. The school building is a solid structure that has seen a lot of different students pass through its doors. Mornings are usually loud with the sound of whistles and kids lining up for their morning assembly. We do not go for anything fancy here. The desks are wooden, the walls are painted a plain color, and we still use chalkboards mostly. Our staff stays busy with their lesson plans and checking all the notebooks. We have a playground that gets quite dusty during the summer months, but the kids do not seem to mind it much when they are playing football or just running around. Dealing with the Pune traffic near Katraj is just part of the daily routine for our school buses. Inside, we just try to keep things orderly and moving. There is always some paperwork to finish or a parent waiting at the office to ask about their child. We do not use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It is just a school where we show up and do the teaching.
