Sarangi Family Restaurant And Bar is tucked away on East Street in the Camp area of Pune. If you know where Kayani Bakery is, we are just right there, next door basically. Being near Victory Theatre means we get a lot of folks coming in after a show or just wandering around the market. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been here for a good while now. The place has two sides to it since we have the restaurant part for families and then the bar area for people who just want a drink after a long day at work. It gets pretty loud on weekends because of the traffic outside and the people talking inside, but that’s just how Camp is. We don't have anything fancy going on, just some tables, chairs, and the usual menu you'd expect in this neighborhood. Our staff mostly stays busy running between the kitchen and the floor. Sometimes it takes a minute to get noticed when it’s packed, but we try to keep things moving. People usually come in for a quick bite or to sit for an hour with a couple of beers. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down, but we’re still here at Survey No 7. It’s just a plain spot to sit down and eat something without too much fuss or bother.
