Sameer Lawns

Sameer Lawns is located out on Dehu Road, right by the Katraj Highway in the Ravet area. We are positioned near the Chinchwad Stadium road, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are coming off the Bombay Pune Expressway. The place is basically a large open plot of grass that we use for events. We host a lot of weddings and community gatherings here. Keeping the grass green is a constant struggle with the heat we get, so we spend a lot of time watering and mowing. It’s not a fancy corporate venue. We provide the space and some basic facilities like rooms for the bridal party to change in. The highway noise is always there in the background, but it’s a convenient spot for guests traveling from the city. We don't do the catering or the decorations ourselves; we just rent out the space. My team and I are usually here early in the morning to clean up after the night before. It’s a lot of work picking up trash and making sure the lights are working for the next booking. The parking lot is just a flat area that gets a bit muddy if it rains. We’ve seen the area around Ravet grow so much over the years. We just keep maintaining our patch of land for whoever needs a big outdoor space.
