Salaam Dilli Restaurant

We are located inside the Mariplex building, specifically by Gold Adlabs in Kalyani Nagar. Being in a mall area like this means we get a lot of people coming in after seeing a movie or while they are out shopping. It’s a different vibe than a standalone shop on the street. The air conditioning is always running and there is a lot of glass and lights everywhere. We’ve been here in Pune for a bit, just running the restaurant. It can be quiet during the weekday afternoons, but it really picks up in the evenings and on weekends. We don't have a long history or a complicated background. We just wanted to have a place where people could eat something while they were out at the mall. The staff here is mostly young people who work shifts around the movie timings. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and resetting the tables because of the high foot traffic. It’s not a quiet place, there is usually music playing from the mall or the sound of people chatting nearby. We don't bother with fancy mission statements. We just show up, open the kitchen, and serve whoever walks in from the parking lot or the cinema. It’s a straightforward job in a modern part of town. We are just one of the many spots in Mariplex doing our daily work.
