Sakshi Glass Works

Sakshi Glass Works is located over at Flat 3 in Mitramandal Colony. It is right off Dudheshwar Road here in Ahmedabad. It is not a big factory or anything, just our workspace where we handle various glass jobs. We spend most of our time cutting pieces to size or fixing windows that people bring in. Sometimes the space feels a bit cramped because glass takes up a lot of room and you have to be very careful where you step. We have been in this spot for a good bit now. People from around the colony know where to find us when they have a broken pane or need a mirror for their bathroom. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months in Ahmedabad, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights outside. You just walk in and tell us what you need. My brother helps out sometimes when there is a heavy sheet to move. We use standard tools, nothing too high-tech or modern. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes things get delayed if a specific type of glass is not in stock, but we usually figure it out. It is just a regular neighborhood shop doing what needs to be done. We appreciate the people who keep coming back to us over the years.
