Down here at Plot No Pap J111 to 120 in Midc Bhosari, things stay pretty loud. Sairaj Welding Sales & Service has been operating out of Shop No 01 for a good while. If you know where the Quality Ice-Cream place is, we are just near there. Sometimes you can smell the sweetness from their side while we are dealing with the smell of burnt metal and electrodes. The shop is full of welding sets and spare parts piled up on shelves. We spend our mornings checking the machines that come in for repairs. A lot of folks from the nearby factories drop off their gear when it stops working. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stock, but we know where everything is. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or signs. Just a plain place where we work on sales and fix stuff that’s broken. When the sun hits the MIDC area, it gets quite hot under the roof. We usually take a break when the tea guy comes around. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy units and testing cables. We just keep our heads down and handle the service calls as they come. It’s honest work, and we like being in this part of town where everyone is busy making things.
