Our family runs this shop at Vighnahar Complex, right near Paud Phata in Kothrud. It is Shop No 2 on Plot No 422. We have been around this area for a long time, and the name on the sign has a lot of history behind it. The shop is not huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have available. We mostly deal with the day-to-day things that people in this part of Kothrud need for their homes. It is a bit of a landmark for some of the older residents who have been coming here for years. We keep things pretty traditional. You will usually find one of us sitting at the main desk, keeping track of the books or talking to a regular customer about their day. It is not a high-speed corporate environment. We take our time to make sure things are done right. The shelves are packed, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a person is looking for in the back. We like being part of the community here. Paud Phata is always busy and noisy, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more grounded. We just keep going, doing what our family has done for years, without making a big fuss about anything. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
