Royal Sweet Mart & General Stores

Started the day early today at Raviwar Peth 635. The shutters on Royal Sweet Mart & General Stores always make a loud noise when I pull them up around seven in the morning. It’s a bit dusty on this street because of all the traffic and the old buildings, so the first thing I do is wipe down the glass cases with an old rag. We’ve got all sorts of things crammed in here. On one side, there are the sweets like laddoos and barfis sitting in their trays, and then the rest of the shop is just general stuff people need every day. Soap, biscuits, some notebooks, and plastic buckets hanging from the ceiling. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where neighbors come by to talk. Some people have been coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own children to buy a small treat. I spend a lot of time just rearranging the shelves because things get messy fast when it's busy. The fan in the corner squeaks a bit, but it keeps the air moving during the hot afternoons. My cousin helps me out sometimes when it gets too crowded to handle alone. We don’t really have a big plan or anything, we just open the doors and see how the day goes. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. That's just how it is running a business in this part of town.
