Razzak Sound & Light Decorators

We operate out of Room No 3 in Shivaji Nagar. It's actually a pretty small space when you think about all the equipment we have to store inside. We are very close to Modern College, so there is always a lot of student energy around this part of 411005. Razzak Sound & Light Decorators started because we just liked working with electronics and music. Our shop is usually filled up with wires, speakers, and different types of lights that are waiting for the next job to come in. It’s not a big corporate office or anything, just a practical workroom where we test everything before taking it to a wedding or a party. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading the van. Sometimes we are out very late at events and other times we are just sitting here fixing a loose connection in a speaker. The neighborhood is busy, but we've lived and worked here long enough to know most of the people on the street. Being in Shivaji Nagar is very convenient for getting around the city. We don't do much advertising; mostly people just know we are here near the college. It gets messy sometimes with all the gear piled up, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with sound systems. We take care of our equipment because that’s what makes the business run. It’s a bit of a squeeze in Room No 3, but we make it work for us.
