Rasrang Sweets is tucked away in the Charkop area of Thergaon. It's a local neighborhood place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything like that. The shop is just a straightforward spot on the street. Usually, the day starts with us dragging the shutters up. The sound echoes a bit because it's still quiet outside. We spend the first few hours in the back. It’s not a fancy setup, just some large pots, stoves, and a lot of elbow grease. Charkop has its own rhythm. You see the kids going to school and the office folks rushing to catch their buses. By midday, the sun is hitting the front of the shop pretty hard, so we pull out the awning. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy mission statement. We just make the sweets and put them in the display. If the mixture isn't right, we fix it. If a customer is in a hurry, we move a bit faster. It’s just regular daily life in Thergaon. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles for a bit, but we don't let it stop us. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s ours and it’s where we work every day. We close up when the street gets quiet at night and do it all again.
