Ramnath Namkeen Sweets

Ramnath Namkeen Sweets is over at the Katraj International Trade Centre. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because there are so many offices and businesses around us. We get a lot of workers coming in during their breaks looking for a quick snack or something salty to take back to their desks. The namkeen is what we do most of, so there is always a lot of spice and oil in the air. We make big batches of different mixes, and I spend a lot of my time filling up those clear plastic bags and sealing them. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but I find it relaxing in a way. The shop is functional and clean, but we don't bother with any decorations. We just have the food on display and a simple counter for the cash. Katraj is always moving, and we are just one small part of that movement. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with the demand when a big group comes in at once, but we just do our best to get everyone served. We don't use any fancy marketing words to describe what we do. It’s just snacks and sweets for people who are busy with their day. We keep the lights on and the shelves stocked, and that’s about it for us. It is a plain shop for plain people who want something honest to eat during their work hours.
