Raka Caterers & Mangal Kendra

We’ve been running Raka Caterers & Mangal Kendra at Shivdarshan Chowk for a good while now. It’s right there in the Parvati area, which most locals know is a busy spot. We handle the food and we have the hall for people to host their functions. It’s not a fancy five-star place, but it gets the job done for weddings or family get-togethers. Most days you’ll find us busy with some kitchen work or cleaning up the space after a big event. The traffic at the chowk can be a bit much sometimes, but it makes it easy for guests to find us. We mostly cook traditional stuff that people around here like. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different cousins or uncles helping out when there’s a big order. We started out small and just kept going because people kept asking us to do their parties. The kitchen can get pretty loud and hot when we are prepping for three hundred people, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when two events happen close together, but we manage to sort it out. If you walk past Shivdarshan Chowk, you can usually smell whatever we are frying up for the day. It’s just us doing our daily work in 411009.
