Rajendra Pure Veg

Our place, Rajendra Pure Veg, is located on Tilak Road in the Sadashiv Peth area of Pune. If you know the Yamaha showroom around here, we are right near that in the Sanskruti Mantra building at number 2056. Being in such a busy part of the city means there is always something happening outside our door. From early morning till we close at night, the traffic and the people walking by never really stop. We focus on vegetarian food because that is what we know. The kitchen starts early because there is a lot of chopping and prepping to do before the first person walks in. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized in a small space like this. We have many regulars who live in the colony or work in the nearby shops who come in almost every day. They usually have their favorite spots to sit and don't even need to look at a menu anymore. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. During the weekends, it gets a bit more hectic with families coming out, and the staff has to move a lot faster to keep up with the orders. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the crowd is too big, but that’s just how it goes in a small shop.
