Radha Gruh Udyog

We are located at Shop No.1 in the Sai Shakti Building, which is in Sector 5 of New Panvel East. If you go behind the V Mart, you will see us right there. Radha Gruh Udyog is a small home-style business that we started to help support our family. It began in a tiny kitchen and eventually grew enough that we needed this shop space. We make various snacks and food items that remind people of home-cooked meals. There are always a few of us in the back wearing aprons and getting things ready for the day. The smell of frying or spices usually drifts out into the hallway of the building. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy signs. Most of our customers are people living in the surrounding apartment blocks who stop by on their way home. My mother still oversees most of the recipes to make sure they haven't changed over the years. We use simple ingredients that we buy from the local market every couple of days. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the afternoon because we only make a limited amount daily. It’s better that way so everything stays fresh. The shop is small and can get a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once, but we manage. We just enjoy what we do and like seeing the same faces every week.
