My family has been at this spot in Thergaon for a while now. We keep the shop open early on SV Road because people in Madhav Nagar usually stop by before heading to work in the morning. It’s a small place, nothing fancy to look at, but we try to keep the counters full of fresh stuff every day. Some days it gets really busy, especially around the festivals, and we might run out of certain items by the afternoon. We mostly just do what we know how to do. The kitchen in the back is where most of the work happens. We use the same recipes that have been around for years, mostly because that's just what people expect when they walk in. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything is in its right place. If you've lived in this part of town for a bit, you probably know where we are, right near the main stretch. It's mostly just us and a few regulars who come in every morning for their usual. We don’t really change much around here. The stools are a bit old, and the sign outside has seen better days, but the food is what matters. We just keep going, day after day, trying to keep things consistent for the neighborhood. It’s a decent life, working here on SV Road and seeing the same faces. We hope to stay here as long as people keep coming by.
