Puneri Sweet Junction

Our shop is located in Kalewadi, right by Shivali Society. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We start our mornings early, long before most people are awake, getting the milk and sugar ready. The smell of frying snacks usually fills the air by eight o'clock. We aren't a big corporation, just a local spot where the neighbors come to pick up a few things for tea or a celebration. The glass cases stay pretty full throughout the morning, but they start looking a bit empty by the evening. We do our best to keep things fresh. Sometimes we have a long line out the door during festivals, and we have to work fast to keep everyone happy. It’s a lot of manual labor, stirring big pots and packing boxes. We know the people from Shivali Society quite well by now. They stop in to chat while they wait. The floor gets some flour on it and the counters get sticky, but we clean up when we can. We don't have any fancy marketing plans. We just make the sweets and sell them to whoever walks in. It’s a simple business. If you’re walking through Kalewadi, you’ll probably see our sign. We’re just here doing our thing day after day, making sure there is something sweet available for whoever needs it. No frills, just sweets.
