Priya Lunch Home

Priya Lunch Home is a small place located at 503 Rasta Peth in Pune. Rasta Peth is an older part of the city with a lot of history and narrow streets. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Our place is basically for people who need a good lunch during their workday. It’s not the kind of spot where you’d find a lot of decorations or fancy furniture. We have simple tables and chairs, and we focus on getting the food out to the tables quickly. A lot of our customers are the same people every day—workers from nearby offices or shops who just want a meal that tastes like it was made at home. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us in the kitchen and one or two people helping out front. It gets a bit hot and cramped during the 1 PM rush, but everyone seems used to it. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to sound like a big corporate chain. We just open up in the morning, do the prep work, and start serving. Sometimes we run out of the daily special early if there’s a big group, but we always have something else ready. It’s a small, practical business that’s been part of this neighborhood for years. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure people leave with a full stomach. It’s usually quiet in the mornings while we’re chopping vegetables.
