We are over at 583 Ganj Peth, which is where Prishtiyo Snacks India Private Limited operates from. Ganj Peth is a busy area, and there is always something going on outside our door. We make different kinds of snacks that people usually eat with their tea. The space isn’t very big, so we have to use every corner we have. It gets quite hot in the kitchen area when the fryers are going, but that is how it goes. We don't have a massive factory with robots. It’s mostly just people doing the work by hand. We buy our ingredients from the local markets nearby because it’s easier than getting them shipped from far away. Sometimes we try out a new recipe and it doesn't work, so we just go back to what we know. The floor is usually covered in a bit of flour by the end of the shift. We clean it up and start again the next day. Being in such a crowded part of town means we talk to our neighbors a lot. They see us loading the small trucks in the afternoon. It's a simple life. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. If you come by, you'll just see us busy with the bags and the labels. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just want to keep things running well enough to pay the bills and keep everyone fed.
