Prabhat Traders

Prabhat Traders is located at number 1105 in the Kapad Ganj area of Raviwar Peth. We are right near the Bank of Maharashtra, which is a good landmark because these narrow streets can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to them. This part of the city has always been a hub for trading, and we have been right in the middle of it for a long time. Our shop isn’t very large, but we pack a lot of goods into the space we have. We mostly deal in wholesale items that local people need for their homes or small businesses. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, with handcarts going by and people shouting out prices all day long. We don't have any fancy displays or air conditioning. It’s just us, some wooden counters, and stacks of inventory reaching up to the ceiling. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Raviwar Peth, and we often share a cup of tea while talking about how the market is doing. The building itself is old, with some cracks in the plaster, but it has character. We open up early and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. There is no corporate strategy here, just honest trading and trying to keep the business going for another generation. We’ve seen the market change, but the way we do things stays pretty much the same.
