So, this shop is tucked away in Yerwada Phase III, specifically at 4th Main 4. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. It is not a very big place, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff in here. Usually, I'm the one opening the shutters in the morning. It’s always a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, so the first thing is always dusting off the jars. We keep a variety of sweets, mostly the stuff people like to have with their evening tea. I spend a lot of time just watching the traffic go by outside while waiting for customers. Some days are really busy, especially when there's a holiday coming up, and then other days it’s just us sitting here talking about the news. The fridge makes this humming sound that you get used to after a while. My cousin helps out in the afternoons when it gets a bit more hectic. We don't really have a big staff or anything, just a few of us making sure the shelves aren't empty. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour and we have to use flashlights, which is a bit of a mess, but we get through it. People come in, ask for a half-kilo of this or that, we wrap it up in paper, and they head out. That's pretty much how the day goes from morning until we lock up.
