If you go to Karve Nagar and look for Bhujbal Bunglow, you will find where we keep all our equipment. Pooja Sound Services & Decorators has been operating out of this part of Pune for a while now. We spend most of our days loading up speakers, amplifiers, and boxes of decorations into our vans. It is heavy work and we are often out late at night or very early in the morning depending on when a function ends. The streets around here can be narrow, so maneuvering the gear takes some patience. We have a lot of different things like drapes, lights, and sound systems that we maintain in our storage space. Pune weather can be unpredictable, so we are always checking our tents and outdoor setups. My crew is used to the physical labor of setting up stages and making sure all the wiring is tucked away safely. We do not have a fancy office; it is more of a workshop where we test the mics and fix the lights when they break. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who handle the noise and the colors for local events. It is a practical business that relies on showing up on time and doing the heavy lifting. We stay busy throughout the year, especially during the wedding and festival seasons when everyone wants things to look and sound right.
