Polkadots Restaurant

We occupy shop number 1 and 6 in Vaishnavi Apartment, right on D P Road in Aundh. This part of Pune is always moving and shaking, especially with all the shops and apartments around here. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people walking by every single day, from students to elderly folks out for a stroll. We’ve been here long enough now that we know the delivery guys and the neighbors pretty well. The space inside isn't massive, but we’ve arranged the tables to fit as many people as we can without it feeling too tight. It gets a bit crowded during the lunch rush, and sometimes the noise level goes up when all the tables are full of people talking. We spend a lot of time cleaning windows and mopping the floors because the dust from the traffic on D P Road always finds its way in. It’s a lot of work keeping a restaurant going, from managing the pantry to making sure the staff knows what’s going on for the day. We don't use a lot of fancy words or marketing talk to describe what we do. We just open the doors, start the cooking, and hope everything runs smoothly. Sometimes things break or we run out of a certain ingredient, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just life in Aundh. We’re just glad to have a steady spot in Vaishnavi Apartment where we can do our thing day after day without too much unnecessary drama.
