Pawan Sweets

Our shop, Pawan Sweets, is located right by the Warje Jakat Naka on NDA Road. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic because of the highway nearby. We’ve been here for quite some years now, watching the area grow and change around us. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have the usual glass displays filled with different kinds of sweets and snacks. We start our day very early, around 5 am, to get the milk and sugar going. It takes a lot of patience to get the consistency right, and sometimes we make mistakes, but we try to fix them before anyone notices. The floor gets a bit sticky sometimes when we’re busy, so we’re always sweeping and mopping. It’s mostly family running the place, so you’ll see the same couple of faces every time you walk in. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are and what we offer. Dealing with the traffic noise from NDA Road can be a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We enjoy talking to the regulars who have been coming here since they were kids. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We just want to keep the tradition going as long as we can. There is always something to do here.
