Nn Fetewale

Nn Fetewale is a bit of a different kind of shop here in Pune City. We are located in the 411002 area and we focus mostly on traditional headwear, what we call the fete. It is something that people around this part of Pune still really value for things like weddings and big family festivals. I spend a lot of my day working with different kinds of fabrics and materials. Some are simple cotton and others are silk, and they come in almost every color you can imagine. My fingers get a little bit sore from tying the knots just right every time, but that is just part of the trade I learned. The shop has a few old mirrors so people can see how the headgear looks on them. I have lived in Pune for a long time and I have seen how people’s styles change, but the fete is something that stays classic.
