Nikhil S Marathe

Up in Vadgaon Budruk, things feel a bit different than the center of the city. Our place at number 4 is a quiet spot, relatively speaking. Nikhil S Marathe has been at this address for a while now. It is a modest building, nothing that would catch your eye from a distance. We have a small yard out front that gets overgrown if we don't watch it. Inside, the rooms are small and the ceilings are high. It stays cool in the summer because of the way the building was put together years ago. There is an old wooden cabinet in the hallway that has been there since before I started. We keep our daily records there. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the grocery store every morning. It is a nice change of pace. We don't have a big team or a fleet of cars. It is just a small operation run from this specific corner of Vadgaon Budruk. Sometimes we sit on the porch during lunch and just watch the clouds. It isn't a high-pressure environment, which is exactly how we like it. The stairs are a bit steep and they groan when you walk up them, but they are sturdy enough for our needs. We have everything we need right here in this simple house. It doesn't need to be any more complicated than that for us.
