New Vishandas Sweet Mart

We are located in Pimpri at the address 342/43. It’s a busy sweet mart with trays of pedas, barfis, and halwa laid out behind the glass. The smell of sugar and ghee is very strong as soon as you walk in. We spend most of our time weighing the sweets and packing them into cardboard boxes. During festival times, the place is absolutely packed and we hardly have time to breathe. Pimpri is a crowded area, so there is always noise from the market outside. We have some large metal scales that we use for the bigger orders. The walls are lined with shelves full of dry snacks and savories too. We make a lot of the sweets in the back area where it stays very warm from the large boiling pots. Our aprons usually have some flour or sugar on them by the end of the day. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we are just staff. We know which sweets people like the most and we try to keep those trays full. The floor is a bit uneven in places because it’s an old building, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't do any fancy marketing, people just know we are here at 342/43. Sometimes we sit on the wooden benches out front when it’s slow and just watch the traffic go by in Pimpri while we take a break.
