We are over in Kothrud, at the Balwantpuram Samrajya complex. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Pune. Our office is in flat F403. Naturetrail Foodworks came about because we all really liked the idea of working with food that did not feel like it came out of a massive factory. We are tucked away in a residential area, so it is quiet enough to get things done but close enough to the main Kothrud markets. Sometimes it feels like we spend half our lives on the phone with vendors or checking on delivery schedules. It is not always smooth sailing. Sometimes things get delayed or a batch is not quite what we expected, and we have to start over. That is just how it goes when you are small. We handle everything from here—planning, sourcing, and all the boring admin stuff that comes with a food business. The building is easy to find once you get into the Samrajya area. We have been here for a bit now and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. It is a lot of small tasks that add up to a long day. We do not have a big marketing department or anything. It is just us sitting around a table making decisions. We try to keep things simple and honest. The weather in Pune can be unpredictable, but we make it work as a team.
