We’ve been here on the first floor above the Savera Hotel for quite a while now. If you know Fergusson College Road, you know how busy it gets, especially right opposite the college itself. It’s a lot of noise and people moving around all day long. Our space is just up the stairs, nothing too fancy, just some rooms where we handle the engineering and management courses. The hallway can get a bit cramped when classes are switching over, and sometimes you can smell the food from downstairs if the wind hits right. We spend most of our mornings just getting the desks sorted and making sure the lights are working. It’s a practical setup, really. People stop by to ask questions about the schedules or to drop off paperwork. It’s easy to find us because of the hotel landmark, which helps since the street numbers can be a bit confusing if you aren’t from around this part of Pune. We’ve got a few windows looking out over the road, so there’s always something to see. It’s mostly just us doing our jobs and students trying to get through their modules. Nothing is overly polished here; we just focus on getting the work done. The desks are a bit old, and the filing cabinets are full of old files, but it functions well enough for what we need. It’s just how things are in this building.
