Narayan Farsan

We've been here at Bibwewadi 29 for a while now. Narayan Farsan is just a small place where we make the usual savory snacks people like to have with their tea. It gets busy in the mornings and evenings when folks stop by on their way home. We spend most of our day frying things up and packing them into plastic bags. There isn't much to say about the shop itself, it’s just a counter and some big metal containers. Sometimes the smell of spices is quite strong and gets in your clothes. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long in line. People around here know where to find us. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name painted above the door. Most days we are just busy keeping the shelves full. It’s hard work being on your feet all day near the hot stove, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes we run out of the popular items before the sun even goes down. If you live nearby, you probably pass us every day without thinking about it much. We just focus on getting the snacks ready. There isn't any secret to it, we just do the work. The floor can get a bit dusty from the flour, but we clean up when we can. It's a simple life here at Bibwewadi. We just hope the snacks are okay for everyone who buys them. That’s pretty much all there is to Narayan Farsan.
