Morya Mangal Karyalay

Morya Mangal Karyalay is located on Gandhi Road in Thergaon. We’ve been in this 411033 neighborhood for quite some time now. This area of Thergaon is always moving. Gandhi Road is usually full of people and shops. Our place is where people come for their big days and family events. We see a lot of weddings and parties here. It’s not a fancy hotel, it’s a karyalay, so it has that traditional feel. We spend a lot of our time cleaning up and setting things back up for the next group. It’s hard work and it gets tiring, but it’s what we do. The building is simple and we try to keep it in good shape. There’s always someone coming by to ask about dates or to look at the space. We don't have a website with a lot of polished photos. People usually just walk in or call us. The traffic on Gandhi Road can be pretty bad, so we tell people to plan ahead if they are coming for an event. We are just a local business helping the community have a place to gather. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s just how life is in this part of town. We don't make big promises, we just provide the space and let the families do their thing. We've seen a lot of local families grow up over the years and it is nice to be a part of that history on Gandhi Road.
