Morbiwala Sweets & Pharsan

We are situated in the Market Yard area of Jarimari. It’s a place where everything moves fast. We specialize in both sweets and pharsan, so there’s always something savory or sweet on the counter. The shop is quite narrow, so when there are more than five people inside, it feels very crowded. We have big bags of flour and sugar stacked in the corner because we go through them so fast. The fryers are going almost all day to keep up with the demand for pharsan. It’s a noisy neighborhood with trucks coming in and out of the yard. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The wooden counter is worn down where people lean on it. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine. Sometimes the morning help doesn't show up, and I have to do everything myself. Those are long days. We don't use any fancy labels. We just write the name of the item on a piece of paper and stick it to the jar. The ceiling is a bit high and hard to clean, so there are probably some cobwebs way up there. We just focus on what’s at eye level. It’s a practical shop for people who live and work around the Market Yard. We just keep our heads down and keep the snacks coming. We hope the rain doesn't leak through the roof this year.
