Mithai Mall is tucked away in Kothrud, right in the Dagina Bazar area at 21/22. It’s a busy spot, especially during the festival season when everyone is looking for sweets. We’ve been behind the counter here for years. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the shelves. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. Some days the floor gets a bit sticky, but we try to keep up with the cleaning. We make our sweets the way we were taught. It’s a lot of manual work, stirring the milk and cutting the pieces. Dagina Bazar is a good place to be because people are always out shopping for other things and stop in for a snack. We don’t really have a big team, just a few of us working together. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, especially the popular stuff. If you’re around Kothrud, you probably know the building. We don’t do much fancy packaging unless someone asks for a gift box. Mostly, it’s just locals coming in for their daily fix of something sweet. The lights in the display case are a bit bright, but it helps people see what's fresh. We just keep doing what we do every day at 21/22. It’s not a mall in the modern sense, just our little corner. It gets pretty hot near the stove, but we are used to it by now.
