Microalds

Microalds sits right near Kumbharwada Chowk on Karve Road. If you know that area, you know how hectic the traffic can get. We have been at 41309 for a good bit of time. The shop is not very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. There are stacks of items everywhere. It might look like a mess to someone else, but we know exactly where everything is. We spend most of our time answering questions and looking for specific parts. We don't have a website that updates every second or a fancy computer system. Most things are written down in a ledger or just remembered. It is an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We get people from all walks of life coming in. Some are in a hurry, and others want to stay and chat for twenty minutes. We don't mind either way. The tea vendor comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a break. We are just local people trying to make a living in a busy part of town. No big promises or fancy talk here. We just show up every morning and open the shutters. It is a steady life, and we are glad to be part of the community. We might not be the fastest, but we try to be the most helpful.
