Kothari

We’ve been here at Yerwada for a while now. Flat number 2847 in the Housing Board colony is where everything happens for us at Kothari. It’s a busy area, honestly. Sometimes the stairs get crowded or there’s noise from the street, but we’re used to it. My family started this because we needed something to do locally. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything. It is just a regular flat where we keep our files and meet people when they drop by. Usually, someone is around from morning until late afternoon. If you’re looking for H-18, it's right near the main gate of the colony. People often get lost finding the specific block, so we just tell them to look for the big tree near the corner. We handle things as they come. It’s mostly just paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The tea guy comes around at eleven and four, which is the highlight for most of us. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which I think is okay. We know the neighbors well and they know us. If the door is open, you can just walk in. We try to keep things simple. It’s not about being the biggest, just about getting the work done right here in Pune. It’s a quiet life mostly, despite the traffic outside.
