Kripa Battery Centre & Power Systems is located at number 17 in Vishrantwadi. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of black and orange batteries lined up against the walls. It’s a heavy job, so we all have strong arms from lifting those things into cars and trucks all day. The shop smells a bit like metal and plastic, which is just part of the business. We have a small workbench in the back where we test the old batteries to see if they can still hold a charge. Vishrantwadi is a busy area, so there are always people stopping by because their car wouldn't start in the morning. We keep a bucket of water and some rags handy to clean up any spills.
