Mayur Mangal Kendra

We have been operating Mayur Mangal Kendra here in Ravet Sector 26 for quite a few years now. The location is right by the grain market, so there is always a lot of activity and trucks moving around outside. This place is where local families come when they have a wedding or a big gathering to plan. It’s a large hall, and keeping it clean is a big job for us. We spend a lot of our time sweeping the floors and making sure the bathrooms are stocked with water and soap. My nephew helps me with the bookings, and we just use a big desk near the front door to talk to people. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. If you want to see the place, you just come by and we walk you around. Sometimes the noise from the market is a bit loud, but most people don't mind once the music starts playing inside. We’ve seen hundreds of weddings here over the years. Every time, it’s the same rush to get everything ready. We check the lights, move the chairs into rows, and make sure the fans are working properly because it gets hot. It is hard work, especially when we have events back-to-back, but it’s how we make our living. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel, just a reliable space for the neighborhood to use for their important days.
