Maratha Restaurants

Maratha Restaurants is located at 500 A in Narayan Peth, Pune. We are very close to the Patrya Maruti temple, which is a big landmark in this area. Narayan Peth is one of those places where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our building is a bit tucked away, but we have a sign out front so people can find us. It’s a simple place with no frills. We have a few ceiling fans and basic furniture. I usually sit near the door to greet people as they come in. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few people who have been with us for years. We start our day by cleaning the whole place and then getting the stove going. The menu is printed on a small card and we don't change it much. We know what our customers like, so we stick to that. It’s not a fancy place for a date, but it’s a good spot for a quick and honest meal. Sometimes the traffic in the narrow lanes of Narayan Peth makes it hard for delivery bikes, so we mostly focus on the people who walk in. We don't use any artificial colors in our food. Everything is prepared the way we would make it at home. The plates are mismatched sometimes, but they are always clean. We don't have any corporate goals. We just want to keep the kitchen running and the customers fed.
