Mangalmurti Food Products

Our place is right in the heart of Shaniwar Peth, specifically at Deepak Pride. We take up units 420 and 421/B. If you know this part of town, you already know how busy the streets get. Finding a parking spot is always a nightmare, but we actually like being right in the middle of all the action. Mangalmurti Food Products has been squeezed into this particular space for a good bit now. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock piled up, but we’ve learned how to make it work over the years. The hallways are pretty narrow, and you can always smell whatever it is we’re packing or processing that day. It’s a real family-style environment here. We don't use intercoms; we just shout to each other across the rooms when we need something. No one wears a suit or a tie in this building. We’re mostly just in our regular work clothes, often covered in a bit of flour or dust. Shaniwar Peth has a lot of history to it, and we feel like we’re just one small, working part of it now. We don't have a fancy reception desk with a phone operator. You just walk in the door and find whoever is available. It’s loud, it’s busy, and it’s exactly how we like to run things. We’re just a regular business trying to stay on top of our daily orders.
