Mangal Sweet

Mangal Sweet is located over in Hadapsar, right in Vinayaka Layout 15. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, but we stay busy. I’ve been working here for a while now. The morning routine is always the same. We unlock the shutters and let the air in. It’s mostly about getting things prepped before the layout gets crowded with families and people heading out. We don’t have a big corporate office or any of that. It’s just the shop floor and the kitchen in the back. You can hear the pans clanking and the stove hissing from the front counter. Vinayaka Layout 15 has its own vibe, very local. Most of the people who come in live just a few houses away. We know their names and what they usually like to take home. Sometimes the fridge acts up or we run out of packaging, but we handle it. It's not a polished place with bright lights and fancy signs. We just have our name, Mangal Sweet, on the board outside. People find us easily enough. On weekends, it gets a bit more hectic with everyone being off work. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. It's honest work and it keeps us occupied. By the time we close up, we're tired, but the shop is ready for the next day. It is a long day but the neighborhood is good to us.
