Mamta Farsan House

Mamta Farsan House is sitting right on the Nda Road, specifically at Warje Naka in the Kondhwa Budruk part of town. If you know Warje, you know how busy it gets around the Naka. There is always a lot of noise from the vehicles passing by and people walking to catch their buses. We are right in the middle of all that. It’s a small shop but we keep it busy from the moment we open the shutters. The air inside always feels a bit heavy because of the cooking, and you can smell the oil and the spices long before you actually reach the door. We don't have much room for people to stand around, so it is usually a quick in and out for everyone. The counters are old and have a few scratches, but that’s just how it is when you’ve been working as hard as we have. My hands are usually covered in flour or bits of dough by noon. We try to keep things organized, but when the rush starts at Warje Naka, it gets a bit hectic. We just focus on getting the snacks ready and into the bags. The Nda Road stays loud until late at night, so we stay open to match that energy. It’s just a regular place for regular people looking for something to eat. No frills. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just stay here and work.
