Makarand Damle

We are located at number 5 on the Cinema Road in Yerwada. It’s a lively spot, especially in the evenings when people are out and about. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. The building is older, but it has a lot of character and we’ve made it our own. If you walk inside, you’ll see it’s a working space first and foremost. We don’t spend much time worrying about the paint on the walls or having the newest gadgets. Instead, we focus on the work that needs to be handled. Whether it’s local folks coming in or someone from across town, we treat everyone the same way. It’s about being straightforward. We handle a variety of things here, and no two days look exactly alike. Sometimes it’s quiet and we can catch up on our logs, and other times it’s a bit chaotic with people coming in and out. Being near the old cinema gives the area a certain feel that you don't get in the newer parts of the city. We’ve seen businesses come and go on this street, but we’ve managed to stay put. We take pride in just being reliable. If someone asks for help, we do what we can. It’s a small operation, run by real people who live in the community and understand how things work around here. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet while we work.
