Mahesh Bhel

Mahesh Bhel is a place that many people in Warje Malwadi know well. We are situated at Survey No 37 on the Viman Nagar Road. It’s a spot that gets very busy, especially during the tea time and late evening. We serve bhel and other snacks that people like to eat while they are out and about. We have a few big containers filled with puffed rice and different chutneys that we mix up all day long. The sound of the spoon hitting the metal bowl is something you hear constantly. We try to keep things moving fast because nobody likes to wait when they’re hungry. The shop isn't very large, so people often stand around outside or sit on their scooters to eat. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here, and now they bring their own children. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t have a massive menu, just the things we know how to make properly. The Viman Nagar Road is always full of people, and we are right in the thick of it. We keep our ingredients in steel bins and make sure everything is fresh for the day. It’s just us working behind the counter, making snacks for the neighborhood. We don’t do any fancy marketing; the smell of the food usually brings people in when they walk past.
