Mahaveer Sweet

Mahaveer Sweet is located on Mangaldas Road in the Deccan Gymkhana area. This part of the town is always moving, and we have been right here in the middle of all the noise for years. Our shop is a very straightforward place where we sell traditional Indian sweets to whoever walks in. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls or soft lighting. It is just bright bulbs and shelves filled with boxes ready to go. We start our day very early, long before the traffic on Mangaldas Road starts to get heavy. There is a lot of prep work to do with the nuts and the sugar syrup. We do almost everything by hand because that is how we were taught to do it a long time ago. Some people might think we are a bit behind the times, but we like our way of doing things. The customers who come in are usually locals or people working in the offices nearby. They just want something quick and sweet, and we try to provide that. We don't make any big claims about being the best or anything like that. We just try to make sure the containers are full and the floor is kept swept. Sometimes the shop is quiet, and other times everyone seems to come in at the exact same moment. We just handle it as it comes. It is a decent way to live.
